Keynote Speakers

Ron Rosenberg, Quality Talk, will be the Friday keynote speaker. His presentation, The Inner Secrets of Outrageous Marketing, will help DMCs look at their marketing in a different way.

Meghan Gendleman, Master Connection Associates, will be the Saturday keynote speaker. Her presentation, The Answer is YES is reflective of today's environment. In 2009, we spent time focusing on how to overcome NO! In 2010, the answer is YES.... just let me know the question.

Pre-Conference Workshop

The workshop on Thursday, February 18, is designed to provide DMCs with important insights into Driving Forward to Profitability. Steve Wilders will present on Thursday afternoon. Each workshop is $95. Register before December 19 and get this workshop FREE!

Our Suggestion Box session on Saturday afternoon will be based on your input - what topics weren't covered yet that you want covered? What topics do you want more discussion with your colleagues? What issues do you have that you want the collective wisdom of your professional colleagues? Past Presidents Pam Graham, DMCP, Congress Canada and Sam Thompson, DMCP, metro Connections will facilitate this fast-paced session on Saturday afternoon. How will we know what topics to discuss? Walk a Mile in My Shoes features DMC clients. Now, more than ever, it's important to understand how clients are viewing DMCs. We've not offered this session for a few years - and it's back with some important client representatives.

Speaker Ed Robinson, Rainmaking Strategies for Success, was so popular last year and we received many requests for more time with him. Dean Savoca had standing room only in 2008. This year, he's talking about Increase Sales and Workplace Productivity: Learn to be People Smart. His background with Maritz ensures that he truly understands the DMC perspective.

Two Views on Risk Management

Steve Levin, Berkeley Insurance, will focus on Now, What Do I Do? Steve was scheduled to speak last year, but a blizzard prevented his joining us. Kelly Stratton, Stratton, Stratton Meeting and Event Services, asks Is Your Contingency Plan a Disaster Waiting to Happen? DMCs have to plan for risks that can be controlled, risks that can't be controlled - with either a small or large magnitude of loss. What's your DMCs plan?
