ADME Annual Conference

March 1 - 3, 2009
Westin Riverwalk Hotel

San Antonio... It's Beyond Conventional!

The world is adorned with great cities; cities that entice, cities that inspire, cities that tell the tales of its patrons. We invite you to a city unlike any other—San Antonio—a land of epic battles, flowing rivers and a flourishing culture.

From the stones of the Alamo to the meandering paths of the River Walk, San Antonio takes you on a journey through a land as grand as its reputation. Walk the lines drawn for independence when you visit the Alamo—one of five Spanish colonial missions. Stroll the cobblestone sidewalks of the River Walk to uncover an outdoor theatre with flamenco dancers and mariachis, nationally acclaimed museums, luxury riverside hotels and sidewalk cafes that offer everything from authentic Tex-Mex to worldly cuisines.

Here, diversity is a way of life; from the colors of the culture to a broad range of attractions. So come, find for yourself that San Antonio is more than a convention destination.

The Westin Riverwalk - ADME Headquarters Hotel

Welcome to San Antonio’s Paseo del Rio, a pedestrian river walk of hidden gardens, shops and sidewalk cafés one story below downtown! Shaded by cypress and palm trees, The Westin Riverwalk graces this famous thoroughfare and celebrates the beauty and heritage of Texas’s oldest city.

Expect a warm welcome at The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio, where guests are greeted with delicious dark chocolate imported from Venezuela. A beautiful, copper platter greets you at check-in, filled with El Rey Latin American specialty chocolates. You may also retreat to a Latin American escape: "La Merienda", Latin version of High Tea, is available Tuesday through Saturday. Cinnamon-tinged roasted Mexican coffees, hot Cocoas,  aguas  frescas, and  hojorascas (Mexican cookies) are served from 3:30pm to 5:30pm in the hotel lobby. A Spanish classical guitarist plays Latin American ballads every Friday and Saturday.

Relaxing and convenient, the Alamo, La Villita, Market Square and the Convention Center are all just minutes away. Guests will enjoy the soothing, comfortable rooms, most with balconies overlooking the river. Rejuvenate in the state-of-the-art WestinWORKOUT® Gym or relax with a soothing spa service. Dine at Caliza Grill, our  award winning riverside café serving  a unique Southwest cuisine with influences from inner Mexico.

The oversized guest rooms are all decorated in a style reminiscent of historic Texas. Take in the beautiful river and city views, and relax in our signature Heavenly Bed®. The spacious marble bathrooms feature the Heavenly Bath®.
