Do you have someone in your office that has less than 5 years experience who you think is a Rising Star in Destination Management? Do you want to recognition an individual as the Destination Management Professional of the Year? Now's the time to nominate these outstanding individuals.

Complete the form and submit to ADME by Friday, September 12
ADME will contact the nominee by Friday, September 19 to inform them of their nomination
Each nominee who accepts their nomination will have a month to submit their entry form
Finalists wil be named in late December
Winners will be announced on March 3 at the ADME Achievement Award event in San Antonio, Texas during the 2009 ADME Annual Conference

IMPORTANT! While we have added a green criteria to the Achievement Awards, you award entry(ies) will NOT be penalized if there is not a green component. For the 2008 Awards, we will collect the green information to share. The green component will not be judged until next year's entries.

Checklist to prepare your ADME Achievement Award Entries

Start NOW to prepare your entries for the 2008 ADME Achievement Awards. Click here for the complete checklist ... here's an overview:

Identify the programs you wish to submit in advance.
Begin the written description as early as possible.
Collect support materials throughout the planning and operations process.
Collect Client Information
A note on photographs – Take more than you think you will need! Include overall shots and detail shots. Focus in on the elements you plan to highlight in your entry. Your photographs should tell the story of your event!
Keep in mind that finalists are required to produce a storyboard to be displayed at the Annual Conference. See the information on storyboard submission for more details.

Looking ahead... Entry deadline will be October 17, 2008. Events must be held between September 1, 2007 and August 31, 2008

NEW this year! Late entries will be accepted between October 18 to October 26. There is an additional $25 late fee for entries completed during this time.
